A solar geyser relies on warm water rising (natural convection), to circulate water through evacuated glass tubes and to the tank. A hot water storage tank is located above tubes. As water in the tubes heats up, it becomes lighter and naturally rises into the tank above. Meanwhile, cooler (condensed) water in the tank flows downwards into the tubes, causing circulation throughout the system.
